Studio Policies
PAYMENT POLICY
1. All term fees must be paid in full for ALL students before or at the beginning of each term. If you have any concerns, please contact the studio.
2. Moomoo's Studio accepts E-transfer and cash as the only methods of payment.
3. A 5% sibling discount will be applied to the student with the lower term fees.
ATTENDANCE POLICY
1. We understand that missed classes are sometimes unavoidable. However, regular attendance is crucial for the student's progress and the class community. Frequent absences may affect eligibility for RAD exams and dance competitions.
2. If a student is absent, parents/guardians must notify the studio at least 24 hours in advance; otherwise, 50% of the class fee will be charged. Please check your child's health and schedule ahead of time to avoid unexpected charges.
3. There will be NO refunds for missed classes. Instead, students may attend a make-up class (if available) or use a class credit for the following term.
4. Students are allowed 3 absences/class credits per school year. After using these, any further absences will result in a full class fee being charged.
5. Class credits must be used within the same school year and cannot be carried over, except for credits from the summer term.
6. Emergencies and sudden illnesses will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
COMPETITIVE TEAM POLICIES
1. Competitive students must attend regular ballet classes in addition to competition rehearsals.
2. All competition rehearsals are mandatory, and absences will be charged in full.
3. Students may lose their spot on the competitive team and their opportunity to compete if they miss classes due to travel or last-minute commitments that were not discussed before joining the team.
4. Students must attend all 3 local dance competitions.
5. A Moomoo's Studio team hoodie is mandatory for all competitive students and can be purchased at the studio. Please wash gently and hang dry to preserve the design and quality.
ACCIDENTS AND INJURIES
Moomoo's Studio is not liable for any injuries or accidents occurring inside the studio, on the premises, or outside the premises before, during, or after operating hours.
CLASS CANCELLATION
1. Moomoo's Studio reserves the right to cancel any class temporarily or permanently due to unforeseen emergencies, inclement weather, or low enrollment.
2. In the event of a class cancellation, you will be notified via email or text.
DRESS CODE AND HAIR
1. For ballet classes and exams, leotards, tights, and ballet shoes are mandatory, according to your grade level. Visit the Dance Uniform tab for more details or to find a nearby shop if you prefer not to purchase through the studio.
2. All ballet classes require a neat ballet bun. Nets and pins are available for purchase at the studio.
3. A Moomoo's Studio team hoodie is available for purchase at the studio. Please wash gently and hang dry to preserve the design and quality.
CLASS VIEWINGS
1. Observation classes will take place on the last class of each term, allowing parents and families to watch and see students' progress.
2. Please minimize noise and talking during these classes.
3. Parents should refrain from staying to watch regular classes, as it can be distracting to the class and may affect students' progress.
ARRIVING TO CLASS
To ensure smooth transitions, students and parents should arrive at least 5 minutes early. Use this time to prepare, put on ballet shoes, and wait for class to start. Please keep noise to a minimum, as the curtain between the studio and cubby area is not soundproof.

Our primary communication method is email and text messages. If you're not receiving our emails or need to update your contact information, please let us know.
HOLIDAYS
Statutory and school holidays can be found in our Calendars tab.
PHOTO DAY
Students will have the opportunity to take solo or group photos with a professional photographer. Photo Day usually takes place in early spring.
RECITAL DAY
We currently do not have an annual recital, but we look forward to hosting one in the future.
REFUND POLICY
We do not offer refunds. All class fees and clothing fees are non-refundable.
